Lambi products are manufactured by Metsä Tissue. The environmental factor is a very important part of the daily work in Metsä Tissue. Our mills are certified according to the ISO 14001 environmental management system and the ISO 9001 quality management system. We continuously invest in product development and new technology to enable the introduction of even better and more environmentally friendly products to the market.
Metsä Tissue’s goal is to limit the impact on the environment to an absolute minimum, throughout the whole chain of production. To achieve this, we constantly work on improving our processes, e.g. decreasing the amount of raw material, energy and water used and developing more efficient transport solutions
The Lambi products have been awarded with the Nordic Environmental Label (the Swan Label) as a sign of their environmentally friendly nature. The Swan Label indicates that the environmental impact of the product has been evaluated during its entire life cycle. The evaluation even includes evaluation of raw materials, chemicals and the production processes.
The typical Lambi product is white and soft, qualities stemming from the pure pulp. The pulp used when producing Lambi products comes from the Nordic countries, where sustainable, certified forests supply the timber for the pulp production.
